Niki’s Healthy Granola Bars

Hey there fellow bloggers! Whilst recently shopping in the snack section of my local supermarkets, I found very little in the form of affordable, tasty and HEALTHY granola bars! So of course, I decided to get inspired and make my own. The result? Healthy, tasty and affordable! (See what I did there?) Here’s how…

 

A handful of unsalted almonds, chopped roughly, 50g dried mango, chopped again, 50g diced dried apricot, handful of sunflower and pumpkin seeds, 2 tablespoons of wholemean flour, 70g rolled oats, 50g chopped dates, 50ml apple juice, 4 tablespoons of honey.

 

Simply mix all together with a wooden spoon and have your oven preheated to gas mark 7, medium-high heat. Spread onto a sheet pan lined with greaseproof paper and you are good to go after 15-20 minutes of baking!

Please, please do not leave unattended as these do have a tendancy to burn, as there is NO SUGAR AND NO BUTTER! But I promise you…they are oh so tasty and affordable to make as they make a big batch and healthy!!

They are great for storing too! They can last up to two weeks…If they make it that long of course! 🙂
